Announcement of appointments to the FCPEMSD Board of Directors.

Summary:
The terms of Board Members Sam Pipkin, Michael Records and Jason Karr expired in September 2016. At the October 3, 2016 City Council Meeting, Councilmember Patterson re-appointed Mr. Pipkin, Councilmember Martin re-appointed Mr. Records and Councilmember Sinor re-appointed Mr. Karr to the Board.
Additionally, Board Member Don Davis was recently elected as the new Fire Chief and subsequently submitted his resignation from the Board of Directors. At the October 3, 2016 City Council Meeting Councilmember Garrison appointed former Fire Chief Greg Bridges to fill the unexpired portion of Mr. Davis’ term on the Board.
These appointments are for a term of two (2) years and the right to terminate the aforesaid appointments is subject to Section 344.101(f) of Chapter 344 of the Texas Local Government Code.
