Summary:
Each year the Information Technology department replaces approximately 25% of the workstations used throughout the city. The rotation program ensures the technology equipment used by all departments is responsive and reliable so they can manage their operations with highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.
This is a Lease/Purchase through the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). The Texas DIR Contract Number is: DIR-SSD-1951. The Dell DIR Vendor Number is: 174-261-6805-400.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
The cost is $52,000 and is included in FY 2016-2017 Budget Acct. #10-200-4403.
