Consideration of and action on approving an amendment to the FY 2016-2017 Deer Park Fire Control, Prevention and Emergency Medical Services District Budget for firefighting personal protective equipment (PPE).

Summary:
The previous adopted budget (FY 2015-16), included funding for PPE that was not completed during that fiscal year. This equipment was ordered, but not received until the current fiscal year (after October 1, 2016). Funding for this equipment was not included in the current fiscal year budget.
This amendment will add $62,000 to the appropriate budget account for this PPE.
