Consideration of and action on authorization to make emergency repairs to a 12-inch sanitary sewer line.

Summary:
A 12-inich sanitary sewer line has broken under the median of Center Street near Antonio’s Restaurant between 11th and 12th Street. Approximately 120-feet of sanitary line, which is 12-foot deep, needs be replaced. The repair needs to take place as soon as possible. Vaught Services will be in town tomorrow on another sanitary project and we will ask them for a quote. Vaught Services is on the Buy Board.
At this time we are asking for authorization to make the repairs. Once a price has been quoted will request a budget amendment.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: Unknown at this time.

Authorization to move forward with the repair work.
