Summary:
Over the past several years, Fire Station #1 has experienced numerous leaks. The City of Deer Park’s Asset Management Program for roof repair is with Tremco, Inc Tremco has made many repairs to the roof and recommended that the roof be replaced for $156,612.00
Atlas Universal Roofing, Inc. is a Tremco certified installer that also is a Choice Facility Partner, Member #09/053DR-10.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds of $157,000 are approved in FY17-18 budget as a capital improvement project.
Recommended action
Approve replacement of the roof at Fire Station #1.
