Presentation /Recognition of Officer Anthony Baggett with a “Life Saving Award.” On August 13, 2017, Officer Baggett responded to Grand Buffett, located at 8309 Spencer Highway, for a male subject who was experiencing tightness in his chest and difficulty breathing. Upon Baggett’s arrival, Kenneth Mcvey stopped breathing. Baggett immediately removed him from the booth in which he was sitting and began CPR. Due to his efforts, Mcvey regained consciousness and began breathing on his own.
Presentation /Recognition of Sergeant Jarrett Hill with a “Life Saving Award.” On August 22, 2017, Sergeant Hill responded to Planet Fitness, located at 3601 Center St, in reference to a male subject who was believed to have had a heart attack while running on the treadmill. Hill quickly administered a shock from the AED, and then began chest compressions. After several rotations of shock and compressions, Mr. Thomas Deshazo began to breathe on his own.
