Summary: The Deer Park High School competition team cheerleaders won the National Cheerleader Association Title of Large Novice High School on January 28, 2018. It is the first time that Deer Park High School has won this prestigious award and the first time since 2009-2010 that the girls returned to competition cheer. What is even more special is their coach, Courtney Winstead McGlynn, is a returning Deer Park cheerleader and competed herself during her years at Deer Park High School.
