Special Presentation: Reflections on City Hall (1978 - 2018)

Summary:
The new Deer Park City Hall opens later this month, replacing the current City Hall, which opened in 1978. As such, the City Council Meeting held on May 15, 2018, will be the final one in the current City Hall. With this item, we want to celebrate the 40-year history of the current City Hall. We have invited all former elected officials who served on Council during the years 1978 to 2018 to be in attendance on Tuesday night. Also invited to join them are our retired Department Directors. Former Mayors Jimmy Burke and Wayne Riddle will speak about City Hall as part of this presentation, as will Mayor Mouton. Finally, at the conclusion of this Council Meeting there will be a reception for the public and all in attendance.
