Accept completion of the waterline rehabilitation of the Dow Park Waterline System.

Summary:
The City purchased the services from SKE Construction, Inc. through the Buy Board to perform Waterline Rehabilitation of the Dow Park Waterline System. This project consisted of upsizing the old 4” waterline that ran through the park to a 6” HDPE waterline. The new line runs from “P” Street through the park and connects to the new City Hall from the South. This allows fire protection for the Park and City Hall to be on a looped system in case of water shutoff from either direction. The project cost was $105,811.12. This project has been completed and is ready for Council’s approval and release of the retainage payment.

This project was funded out of the Water/Sewer Contingency Fund
Recommended action
Staff recommends council accept completion of this project.
