Acceptance of a change order on the New Animal Shelter construction.

Summary: The contract for the construction of the New Animal Shelter was awarded to Construction LTD in the amount of $2,240,668 there has been one change order issued back in October 2017 for $88,278.50 which brought the contract price to $2,328,966.50.
At this time we are requested an additional change order in the amount of $20,534.00 to cover the expense of network cabling for the new facility. The network cabling was not included in the original contract.
Approval of this, Change Order #2, will bring the total contract amount to $2,344,500.50.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: This project is being funded out of Bond Fund 26. There are sufficient funds in this account to cover this additional expense.
