Summary: Fuquay, Inc. has completed the CMP Rehabilitation - Phase 3 Project and is now ready for Council acceptance, approval of a Balancing Change Order, and release of retainage. The project was completed in the amount of $373,155.44. The original contract was approved by Council in the amount of $352,355.54. During the rehabilitation process it was found that more debris had washed into the CMP’s after Harvey and additional removal of the debris was needed. This increased the contract by $20,800.00.The balancing CO and retainage for this project is $56,035.55. The project consisted of the rehabilitation of a 1,000 LF of various size CMP storm pipe throughout the City. This rehabilitation will prevent further damage and allow better flow of drainage. This project was completed on time and in budget.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: This project was funded through the 2007 CO Bonds Fund 34.
