Consideration of and action on a Soccer Complex Change Order.
Summary
Due to unforeseen site conditions after deforestation of the project sight additional dirt was required to meet design grade specifications. The sod for the two field was recommended to allow the facility to be utilized in 2019.
At the February 19, 2019 Council Meeting, the FY 2018-2019 Budget was amended to provide the funding for the sod and additional dirt. We are requesting approval for the attached change order to expedite the project. Approving the change order will allow to have access to two (2) lighted fully matured sodded fields in the Fall 2019 and the additional dirt will meet design grade specifications.
