Summary:
This project consists of Pipe-bursting 3300 linear feet of 18” sanitary sewer force main that runs from the South Plant Lift Station to the WWTP. The current line has had several failures over the past couple years and is the main sewer line for the City’s largest lift station. This project will be done in phases in order to maintain service and consideration to residents. The other phases will be done in conjunction, but will use a UV liner technology for the sections that run through the backyard easements. Those Phases will be awarded under a different contract. This project is part of the SSO imitative to rehabilitate sewer lines in areas found to have severely deteriorated pipe in subdivisions with overflow issues. The services for this Project will be purchased through the TIPS Cooperative Purchasing Program using Vaught Services, Inc. (A Vortex Companies). The total price for this project is $1,398,595.80.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: This project will be funded through Water/Sewer CIP Funds (Fund 51)
