Summary:
This project consists of lining the 18” Sanitary Sewer Force Main with a UV Liner. The existing Force Main is in bad condition and has had may line failures over the years. This is phase 2 of the project that will be running concurrent to phase 1. The UV liner is being used for sections under Phase 2 in order to minimally disturb residential properties that have a backyard utility easement. This project is part of the SSO imitative to rehabilitate sewer lines in areas found to have severely deteriorated pipe and with overflow issues. The services for this Project will be purchased through the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program using Fuquay, Inc. The total price for this project is $657,225.00.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: This project will be funded through Water/Sewer CIP Funds (Fund 52)
Recommended action: Staff recommends Council approval to purchase services of Fuquay, Inc. through Buy Board
