Discussion of issues relating to Emergency Services vehicles purchased or modified during the current budget year.

Summary: 

The City of Deer Park funded the purchase of four new vehicles within Emergency Services this year, three within the Fire Department and one within the Fire Marshal’s Office.  The Fire Department obtained two new grass trucks and a new vehicle for the Fire Chief.  All three of the older vehicles were maintained and have been modified for high water response capabilities. 

 

The new and modified vehicles will be present at City Hall for display during the Council Workshop. 

 

 

Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: 

All of these vehicle purchases and modifications were budgeted expenditures.  No additional funding is necessary.

Discussion only during Workshop.
