Summary: In November 2019, council authorized staff to negotiate a cost share contract with Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) for a regional study of the Boggy Bayou watershed. HCFCD agreed to a 50/50 cost share to fund the analysis. As you may recall, Cobb Fendley was hired to perform the engineering services to develop alternatives to alleviate flooding associated with the 2017 Hurricane Harvey rain event. We would now like to hire Cobb Fendley to perform the drainage analysis for the Boggy Bayou Watershed at a lump sum cost of $84,560.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: The funding will come out of Fund 90 drainage funds with a 50/50 cost share and reimbursement of up to $42,280 from HCFCD.

Staff recommends entering into an agreement with Cobb Fendley.
