Summary:
The City has recently evaluated the fee schedule related to water and sewer deposits. There were inconsistencies in the deposit requirements for residential customers, multifamily residential customers (e.g., apartments), and commercial customers. It was apparent that some of these deposit amounts had not been reviewed or updated for many years. In an effort to update the deposit requirements to protect the City and to apply a consistent standard, the following changes to the fee schedule are being proposed and will be presented in an ordinance for consideration in the regular City Council meeting to follow:
