Summary:
On December 30th, 2020 we received 5 bids for the golf course bunkers at the Battleground Golf Course. The City of Deer Park in partnership with Touchstone developed specifications for renovation work to existing sand bunkers at the Battleground Golf Course. Renovation work to these bunkers would include, but not limited to the following:
• Demolition of existing bunker and contents
• Grading and compacting of bunkers
• Installation of drainage pipe in bunkers
• Installation of bunker liner
• Installation of bunker material and sand
• Finish grading of bunkers and areas surrounding bunkers
• Installation of sod around bunkers
• Minor repairs and clean up related to construction
Funds were approved in the FY 20-21 budget to complete renovations for sand bunkers on 18 holes of the Battleground Golf Course. The budgeted amount was $169,000 and the low bidder’s bid was $168,804.60. The lowest responsible bidder is Fusion Golf LTD.
