Summary:
The Surface Water Treatment Plant was budgeted funding to have the yard piping at the plant painted. The pipe on much of the property is peeling and the pipe and connections need to be resealed. Sites would include the raw water header and lines, the clearwell, the high service pumps, the clarifier splitter, and the air lines at the filters.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: $69,000 was budgeted in the Water Plants 2020-2021 fiscal year budget to fund these improvements.
Recommended action
Staff recommends moving forward with this project.
