Summary:
In July of 2020, staff from Public Works, Public Relations and IT began working with Tyler Technologies to create an all-inclusive app that would incorporate city branding, encourage two way communications between city staff and citizens, provide interactive GIS-based maps to points of interest and improve city response times to citizen’s request. The new app based on the Tyler Technologies MYCIVIC platform, went live May 5th, 2021. The app is available for download from the ITunes and Google App stores.
Tonight staff would like to discuss the current features of new app and ways it will be used in the future.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
There is no fiscal impacts related to this item. Funding was included in the FY 2019-20 budget under account 10-401-42790 in the amount of $12,350.00.
