Summary:
The Operations of the Dow Park Pool is under the certification from Ellis and Associates as a regulation, check, and balance of safety policies and procedures. Training consist of several hours of intensive rescue exercises that are conducted throughout the pool season by our Certified Pool Operator/Aquatic facility Operator, Debra Culp. The Dow Park Pool is audited (3) three times each season which consists of visits that check manager operations, proper document of saves, and lifeguard observations and skills test.
Pool staff must undergo several hours of training both in classroom and in the pool prior to opening each summer.
We are proud to announce that we have received the highest ratings from Ellis this season. Debra’s leadership and the dedicated lifeguards have once again provided the citizens of Deer Park with a safe place to swim this past summer. .
We would like to recognize Debra and her staff for another excellent job and the saving of lives.
