Summary:
The Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget for the Parks Maintenance Division includes $100,000.00 for the final phase of the bridge replacement in Dow Park. These monies were budgeted to update and replace the final two pedestrian bridges, which are galvanized steel structures with concrete poured in place. Because the actual cost of the final phase of this project exceeds the amount budgeted, a budget amendment in the amount of $30,000.00 is requested to appropriate the additional funds necessary to complete the project in Fiscal Year 2021-2022. This additional appropriation would be funded by the current year’s contingency of the General Fund, which is available for this purpose.
Fiscal Budget Impact:
Add $30,000.00 to the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget for the Parks Maintenance Division (Account No. 010-432-49030, Improvements Other Than Buildings), to be funded by the General Fund contingency (Account No. 010-105-45100, Contingency), which is available for this purpose.

Approve the ordinance to amend the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget for the Parks Maintenance Division for additional funds to complete the Bridge Replacement at Dow Park.
