Summary:
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: The East Meadows Detention Pond is overgrown and needs to be cleared of overgrowth in order to maintain positive drainage performance. The project was bid following approval by City Council on October 19, 2021 to solicit bids. JBM Landscape & Irrigation, LLC is the low bidder at $57,155.00. Because this project was not included in the budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021, it is necessary to amend the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget. This project will be funded out of the prior year revenue (fund balance) of the Storm Water Fund, which is available for this purpose.
Fiscal Budget Impact:
Increase the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Storm Water Fund budget by the amount of $57,155.00 for the East Meadows Detention Pond Project, which will be funded by the prior year revenue (fund balance) of the Storm Water Fund, which is available for this purpose.
