Recognition of members of the Volunteer Fire Department for community events.

Summary:
Fire Chief Don Davis respectfully recognizes the following members of the volunteer fire department for their dedication, loyalty and success of each event:
Mike Castenada, DPVFD President, for coordinating the "Fill the Boot" campaign for muscular dystrophy research. We collected and donated $9,155.84.
Jonathan and Tiffany Neal for coordinating the "Gift of Christmas" campaign for needy families. We helped over 50 families in need in our community.
Justin Crow and Kenneth Dalessandro for coordinating the "Santa Around Town" event. Three nights taking Santa through every single street in Deer Park.
Mike Moore and Michael Schrieber for participating in the "Texas Memorial Illumination". This event honored the 21,500 military personnel from Texas that has died on the battlefields from the Battle at San Jacinto to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Every member of the Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department supported and participated in all of these events in addition to other community and surround area events, such as school fire prevention programs, school career days, church carnivals, etc.
