Summary:
The deadline for receipt of proposals for the Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) for the Community & Recreation Center Project was January 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Four (4) proposals were received by the 2:00 PM deadline. After the deadline, the proposals were be opened publicly and the names of the respondents were read aloud.
A Selection Committee comprised of the City Council Architectural and Engineering Committee (3 members), 2 representatives of the DPCDC, 2 members of the PARC, and City staff. The project architect, Stephen Springs with Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, will also provide technical assistance to the committee. The Selection Committee will hear presentations from and interview each of the 4 firms separately. After the presentations/interviews, the Selection Committee will evaluate and score the proposals in accordance with the criteria listed in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
Two members of the DPCDC Board of Directors need to be appointed to serve on the Selection Committee.
