Summary:
In 2021, the City entered into a contract with Azalea Creek, LLC to provide plated style meals services for the Parks and Recreation Department’s Art Park Players Theater Performances. This contract was for one (1) year with the option to renew up to four (4) additional years for a total of five years. This would be the second option to renew for the year. The current contract expired September 1, 2023. The renewal will be retroactive beginning September 1, 2023 - September 1, 2024. This year represents the first renewal option on the current contract, and at this time, both the City and Azalea Creek, LLC are agreeable to a one-year extension of the contract. Azalea Creek, LLC has informed the City that there will not be a rate increase and the price per meal will remain at $18.50 per person.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds are allocated for the meals each fiscal year in Parks and Recreation Department, Theatre Division general fund budget (Account No. 010-438-43030, Operational Supplies).
