Summary:
City Council authorized seeking bids for the construction of the Hike and Bike Trail at the February 2, 2021 regular City Council Meeting. The City of Deer Park in partnership with Burditt and Associates developed specifications and construction documents for work in this section of the comprehensive Hike and Bike Trail project.
Funds were approved for this project by the voters at the 2015 Type B election as more specifically described in the proposition ballot language and for the amount of $500,000.

The recommendation was to award the base bid of $283,962.41 and add alternate of $44,160.00 for a total of $328,122.41 to General Petro Chem Industrial for this project.
